Those are some incredible facts that many people are not aware of but may become interesting to you. Everyone loves to learn something new, and it’s a natural human tendency to gather information around them. We all love to be knowledgeable, and what can be more exciting than learning some quick and interesting facts about things which we were unaware of. Let's start with the first fact- Do you know that flamingos are not pink in color when they are born? Yes, you heard it right. They are grey or white when they are hatched but turn pink due to a natural pink dye called Canthaxanthin in their diet of brine shrimp and blue-green algae. The 2nd fact- The shortest war on record lasted just 38 minutes! It was fought in the year 1896 between British forces that had occupied the city of Zanzibar off the coast of East Africa and little-known part of the British Empire, and the defending Sultans of Zanzibar. Wanna hear something more interesting? There are more possible ways to shuffle a deck of cards than there are atoms in the Solar System. It’s hard to believe but true – the possible number of ways a deck of 52 cards can be arranged is 80,658,175,170,943,878,571,660,636,856,403,766,975,289,505,440,883,277,824,000,000,000,000. Alas, the number of estimated atoms in the Solar System is just around 10^72! The 4th fact- The shortest war erupted between the two countries: Chad and Libya. The war officially lasted only five days from 16th December to 21st December 1980. Have you ever wondered why the sky is blue? The answer is that the molecules in Earth's atmosphere scatter sunlight in every direction and blue light is scattered more than other colors because it travels as shorter and smaller waves. Lastly, did you know that cockroaches can live for several weeks without their heads? It’s hard to believe, but true. Since they have an open circulatory system and can breathe through small holes in each segment of their body, they can survive without their heads but die due to hunger eventually. Conclusively, these were some quick and interesting facts that we were unaware of. These facts sometimes even add to the beauty of the world, and we must keep on learning new things every day.
